PwC was cited as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Global Digital Experience Agencies, Q4 2019. Forrester notes in the report that: “Portfolio breadth in support of experience-led transformation differentiates the leaders (Ted Schadler with Allen Bonde , Emma Huff , Peter Harrison, 2019).” PwC Digital Services scores especially well for partner ecosystem in our strategy assessment. It ranks in the middle of the pack in client co-innovation and employee experience (Ted Schadler with Allen Bonde , Emma Huff , Peter Harrison, 2019).
We are really pleased to be named a leader in this Forrester report. Doing digital right often means that our clients need to change their ways in order to maximise the potential to drive their businesses forward. (Clarke, 2019)
PwC has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketSpaces: Worldwide Digital Strategy Consulting Services 2019 Vendor Assessment (Doc #US43700818, June 2019) (PwC, 2019). PwC is positioned as a Leader in the worldwide 2019 IDC MarketScape for digital strategy consulting services (IDC MarketScape, 2019).
We are proud to be named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape. It validates our desire to help our clients accelerate their digital transformation efforts and achieve powerful business outcomes! PwC and our clients work together to co-create solutions and rapidly prototype before we implement (Puthiyamadam, 2019).
PwC Canada has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Canadian Digital Business Services 2019 Vendor Assessment (Jim Westcott, 2019). This specific study assesses the capabilities and strategies of firms offering digital business transformation services, the combination of digital strategy consulting, digital enablement services (including technology integration), and digital agency services in an inclusive offering. Nadir Hirji, Digital Services Leader, PwC Canada said: “We are proud to be named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape.”

PwC ' clients live in environments increasingly disrupted by digital technology. To help them turn this destruction into opportunity, it is vital that we stay ahead of the game. PwC 's new digital fitness solution aims to do just that, keeping PwC staff on top of the latest digital innovations. The solution starts with a brief self-assessment that allows our employees to reflect on their current capabilities and identify areas where they need to improve. It can also help them recognize the digital advantages they can share with colleagues and customers. Digital fitness gives everyone control over their digital learning and development. The learning content includes small elements of varying sizes and forms (blogs, podcasts, videos, articles) that can be brought directly to people on our journey without the need for a classroom or trainer. The cloud-based solution, which can be used on multiple devices, is being rolled out across the PwC network.

Organizations today are complex, evolving systems based on the collective aspirations and talents of real people operating in a dynamic culture. Data and machine learning are increasingly defining the world, but there is no easy way to measure human motivation or establish a clear formula for an effective future. Whether implementing a new strategy, making the workforce more competitive in the face of rising industry costs, or dealing with general organizational inefficiencies, a tool that can X-ray the enterprise is needed to identify potential problems in any area and link them to managers. Through a tool called Digital Twin, PwC collects information that allows managers to immediately build solutions and overcome significant obstacles before they occur. The Digital Twin captures the virtual model of the organization and helps speed up strategy. The model can identify elements that block or support policy execution and make specific recommendations based on embedded pattern recognition. Digital Twin uses PwC's global experience to gather more points and connect them faster, providing better solutions for clients.
This is a new world that requires new skills. For many, this is an exciting prospect because it is linked to progress. At PwC, the answer is to start implementing what we think organizations around the world will need to do. PwC has created programmes to help our staff learn new skills for the digital age. And has begun this journey in the United States to upgrade skills, which means providing employees with the opportunities to acquire the knowledge, tools, and capabilities they need to use advanced and changing technologies in the workplace and in their daily lives. Not everyone has to learn to code, but many need to understand and manage artificial intelligence, data analysis, self-driving cars and other technologies that we can't yet predict -- those that appear today and will be created in the future. People in every business also need stronger leadership skills: the ability to motivate and empower others to meet the challenges of continuous learning, and to make the right decisions about the use and implementation of technology. Over the next four years, we at PwC are committing US$3bn to upskilling (PwC, 2019).

The challenge of upgrading skills reflects the speed and unpredictability of technological change. The purpose of PwC's program is to encourage the adoption of a multi-stakeholder approach, in which everyone involved in the skills development journey can share effective approaches, scalable approaches, and opportunities. PwC knows it can inspire people to adopt new ways of working. Their experience, and that of other businesses, has shown. Now is the time for a movement in which companies and communities around the world join to create the next wave of human capacity.

Hi, Hao. Enjoying reading your blog. I found the solution starts with a brief self-assessment which you have mentioned in your blog really attract my attention. To let the employees to konw more clearly about themsellves and then do some improvements sounds really good; in my opinion, this action can not only enance the abilities of PwC's employees but also will benefit the corporation finally, it's really a win-win measure.
Hello, Xuhao! After reading your blog, I have a certain understanding of the digital development of PWC. I understand that PWC provides auditing and other services for the company as an accounting firm, but in your blog, I find that PWC has helped the accounting staff by arranging data and information. I think this is the greatest convenience brought by PWC's digital model. I don't know much about the other content of your blog, so I hope to learn from you in this respect. These are my opinions, and I hope to discuss them further with you.
Hi!
This was a very interesting post to read, as I have no previous knowledge about such solutions that the Pwc is using. As I read further, the technologies like the Digital Twin are used in multiple spheres, including the financial services. In particular, as it is explained by Finch (2019), the digital twin technology is used by the companies operating in financial industry to model customer behaviour with regard to other factors, and this helps predicting possible decisions people take with regards to their finances.
As digital twins roughly are the digital copies of the real life objects or environment and they are constructed by the use of advanced analytics, the companies like Pwc might use them to advice…
Hi! I really enjoyed reading your blogpost about PWC solution to digital upskilling. I was not aware of this and I think it is a great idea and way to make employees aware of digitalization. By creating a platform in which employees are able to choose themselves to share relevant content, instead of the employer providing the material is a great way to encourage independent digital learning. I think many more corporations will follow PWC approach. I wonder if PWC is the first within the big four to create a platform as this?
